The members of the Mobile Albania collective are cleaning up in Lichtenberg. In their function as garbage collectors, they connect the neighborhoods of the district on the north-south axis from Neu-Hohenschönhausen to Karlshorst. On their route: heaps of bulky waste, parked, unwanted, discarded. What do these temporary accumulations on the street corner stand for? Who put them there and why? Wouldn't it be nicer if something else was there instead? Together with residents and passers-by, Mobile Albania are creating something that suits the street better. The supposed rubbish becomes a memorial, a cinema, a local recreation area, a library…
